Saddle Stitching refers to a popular book / magazine / publication binding method in which folded sheets are gathered together one inside the other and then stapled through the fold line with wire staples. The staples pass through the folded crease from the outside and are clinched between the centremost pages. An ideal binding method for A4 magazines, programmes, publications and booklets. The Midleton & District News and The Youghal News, Flanagan Print’s flagship publications, are both printed using a saddle stitch.
